Why free
A shopping list only works if the whole household has it, and charging for sharing breaks exactly that: one person not paying is enough to make the list useless for everyone.
So sharing is free and will stay free. Anything paid, if it arrives, will be what helps people already using the app daily and paying out of pocket — not what it takes to make it work.
